Xbox owners have a busy weekend of gaming ahead as Microsoft kicks off its latest round of Free Play Days. Leading the charge is Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, which is opening its doors to all Xbox players for a limited-time trial starting Thursday, July 2, and running through Monday, July 6.

What's Included in the Black Ops 7 Trial?

During the trial period, players can access both Multiplayer and Zombies modes. The content drop features over 45 Multiplayer maps, including three new additions from Season 04 and two remastered classics. Fans of the competitive scene can jump into standard modes like Team Deathmatch and Domination, or try out Season 04's new offerings: Team Blueprint Sharpshooter and Knife Fight.

For those who prefer cooperative play, the Zombies trial includes an all-new roguelite mode and a fresh round-based map set on a volcano. As part of the promotion, the Cross-Gen Bundle for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is currently discounted from $69.99 to $55.99.

More Free Play Days Highlights

The free-to-try selection extends well beyond Activision's latest shooter. Diablo IV is currently free for all Xbox players to test for a full week, running from June 30 through July 7. Players can progress through the campaign with any class up to level 30. This trial coincides with the launch of the Season of Death Awakening, which includes the opportunity to earn Overwatch-themed cosmetics via a free Reliquary. Diablo IV is also seeing a 40% discount during this window.

Other titles joining the lineup include:

  • Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure: Available from July 2 to July 5 for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential members.
  • Demonschool: A two-hour timed trial available to all Xbox members from July 2 to July 5.
  • The Stone of Madness: A two-hour timed trial available to all Xbox members from July 2 to July 5, currently discounted by 67%.
