The game is framed as a combat simulation designed by Captain Qwark to identify the next generation of Galactic Rangers. Players will select from a roster of 12 heroes at launch, each featuring unique abilities, backstories, and cosmetics. According to Oh BiBi, the development team worked closely with Insomniac Games to ensure the new characters and Lombaxes feel authentic to the series' established lore.

The gameplay focuses on real-time PvP arena battles supplemented by dynamic PvE elements. At launch, the title will offer six distinct modes, including team-based combat, wave-based survival, a battle royale-inspired mode, and a football-themed showdown that incorporates the franchise’s signature weaponry.

Community Milestones and Rewards

To incentivize early sign-ups, Oh BiBi has launched a community rewards campaign. As global pre-registration numbers climb, players will unlock various in-game resources, including Qredits, Reebos, and Raritanium. The ultimate goal of this campaign is to unlock the exclusive Clank Suit skin for the character Widget, which will be provided to all players at the global launch if the final milestone is achieved.

Developing for Mobile

The transition to mobile has been a primary focus for the team, who emphasized that they aimed to capture the tone and humor of the early Ratchet & Clank titles. Much of the project's development has been dedicated to crafting a soundtrack that mirrors the nostalgic feel of the franchise's roots, a detail that has already garnered positive attention from the community during regional soft launches in Canada, the Nordics, France, and Asia.

While the team continues to polish the experience, they have hinted that further surprises remain hidden within the game's promotional screenshots. For now, players can head to the App Store or Google Play to pre-register and prepare for the upcoming global release.
