Quick Facts: PS Plus Extra Removals

- Number of Titles Leaving: 9
- Affected Platforms: PS5 and PS4
Titles Leaving the Catalog
The following games will no longer be available to subscribers after the August 18 cutoff:
- Earth Defense Force 6 (PS5, PS4)
- Unicorn Overlord (PS5, PS4)
- Harold Halibut (PS5)
- Clash: Artifacts of Chaos (PS5, PS4)
- Dead Island 2 (PS5, PS4)
- Roki (PS5)
- Onee Chanbara Origin (PS4)
- Bomber Crew (PS4)
- Space Crew: Legendary Edition (PS4)
Among the departing titles, Unicorn Overlord and Dead Island 2 represent the most prominent additions to the list. Subscribers currently have just under one month to access these titles through their existing membership before they are removed from the library.
Understanding PS Plus Extra Access
It is important to distinguish the PS Plus Extra library from the monthly games provided through the PS Plus Essential tier. While games claimed through the Essential tier remain in your library as long as your subscription is active, titles in the Extra and Premium catalogs are rotational. Once a game leaves the service, you lose access immediately, regardless of whether you have previously downloaded or started the game. To continue playing these titles after August 18, you will need to purchase them from the PlayStation Store.
