The week of July 20th to July 26th, 2026, brings a variety of new software to the PlayStation 5, ranging from retro-inspired shooters to new fighting game entries. In addition to individual store releases, PS Plus subscribers see a significant update to both the Extra and Premium game catalogs.

New PS5 Game Releases

The following titles are scheduled for release on the PlayStation Store this week:

  • Blast'N Bounty (July 21st): A vertical scrolling shoot'em up featuring a mix of pixel art and low-poly 3D graphics.
  • Pit Panic (July 21st): A fast-paced 2D rogue-like platformer with environmental puzzles.
  • The Planet Crafter (July 21st): A terraforming survival game supporting single-player or up to 8-player online co-op.
  • Micro Overdrive: Home Tour (July 22nd): An arcade racer focused on driving miniature cars through household environments.
  • 7 Shifts in Subway (July 23rd): A first-person psychological horror game set on a night train.
  • Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game (July 23rd): A 2D fighter featuring 12 playable characters and multiple modes, including Story and Arcade.
  • Cultic (July 23rd): A retro-style FPS that includes the base game, the Interlude, the Chapter Two expansion, and additional survival maps.
  • Disgaea Mayhem (July 23rd): A strategy-oriented title where players control a mercenary to collect pudding for a princess.
  • Gurei (July 23rd): An action title where players control a human spirit tasked with defeating mystical nature entities.
  • High Times (July 23rd): A simulation game where players manage a donut shop and influence customer emotions.
  • Twofold (July 23rd): A narrative-focused game centered on a college student attempting to salvage their GPA.

PS Plus Game Additions

Sony has updated the PS Plus library with several new titles for Extra and Premium subscribers:

  • Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora (PS5 - PS Plus Extra)
  • Firefighting Simulator: Ignite (PS5 - PS Plus Extra)
  • Indigo Prophecy (PS5/PS4 - PS Plus Premium)
  • Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy (PS5/PS4 - PS Plus Premium)
  • Rise of the Ronin (PS5 - PS Plus Extra)

Note that additional titles, including Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, Dying Light, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind, and Snow Bros. Wonderland, are scheduled to join the PS Plus Extra library on July 28th.
