Moza Racing has been named the official peripheral partner of Gran Turismo 7, bringing high-end sim racing hardware closer to the PlayStation 5 ecosystem. The announcement includes confirmation that first-party developer Polyphony Digital is collaborating with the manufacturer to build a Gran Turismo-branded steering-wheel controller.

Expanding the PlayStation Ecosystem
While Moza Racing generally builds premium hardware aimed at enthusiasts, none of its current gear works with the PS5. This new agreement signals a shift for the manufacturer as it works to establish its first officially licensed PlayStation racing products. A spokesperson for Moza Racing stated that development is actively underway, with more details scheduled to arrive in the coming months as the company expands its ecosystem for players worldwide.
Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi noted that his familiarity with Moza dates back to the company's camera stabilization gimbals. Because gimbals and steering controllers rely on similar electric motor technology, Yamauchi pointed to Moza's developmental ability and reliability as factors in the partnership. While force feedback steering development has progressed significantly since Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec, Yamauchi expressed confidence that the collaboration will optimize future steering wheel options for the series.
