Daylight Studio and publisher COSEN have officially released their latest title, Light: Black Cat & Amnesia Girl for the PlayStation 5. The game is now available for purchase globally via the official PlayStation Store. This release marks the latest addition to the platform's library of puzzle-oriented adventure games, focusing on a specific narrative and mechanical loop involving a feline protagonist.
Gameplay and Availability Details
In this title, players take control of a black cat tasked with guiding a girl through a series of 3D environments. The core gameplay loop centers on navigating complex four-level mazes that require spatial awareness and puzzle-solving skills. The game is currently priced at $28.49 for the digital version on the PlayStation Store. While the digital release is available to a worldwide audience, the distribution strategy differs for physical media collectors.
For those interested in physical copies, the publisher has confirmed that physical editions are currently available exclusively in Japan. These include both Standard and Limited editions for the PlayStation 5 platform. The following table outlines the key release information for the title:

The game is designed for players who enjoy atmospheric puzzle-solving and character-driven exploration. By utilizing the black cat as the primary guide, the game shifts the perspective of traditional maze navigation, requiring players to manage the movement of the girl through the 3D space. With the game now live on the PlayStation Store, interested players can access the title immediately to begin the adventure. The combination of the $28.49 price point and the specific puzzle mechanics positions this as a niche offering for fans of the genre looking for a new experience on their current-generation hardware.
