New NVIDIA Linux Driver Releases

NVIDIA has released two new driver packages for Linux as of August 3, 2026. Users can now access the latest stable driver, version 595.91.07, or the new feature branch driver, version 610.57.04.

Feature Branch 610.57.04 Fixes

The 610.57.04 feature branch provides several technical resolutions for Linux gamers:

  • Game-Specific Crashes: Resolved issues affecting STALKER 2 (VK_DEVICE_LOST errors), Monster Hunter Wilds, 007 First Light, and Assassin's Creed Origins.
  • Rendering and Performance: Fixed rendering corruption in Assetto Corsa EVO, resolved GPU hangs in Forza Horizon 6 when using VKD3D_CONFIG=descriptor_heap, and corrected stuttering caused by delayed wakeups in Vulkan applications.
  • System Stability: Addressed a regression from the 595 series causing black screens in Total War: Warhammer III and fixed suspend/resume failures on systems using runtime D3 (RTD3) power management.
  • Display and Kernel: Fixed Vulkan display enumeration errors and corrected console switching issues on Linux v7.0 and newer.

Additionally, the 610.57.04 update includes fixes for application hangs or black screens in Crimson Desert, Elden Ring, ExoDomia, Far Far West, Grounded 2, Incursion Red River, John Carpenter's Toxic Commando, Paradise Nowhere, Screamer, and Star RuptureWindrose.
