Survival and Economy
Food remains central to the core gameplay loop, driving town growth and army movement while keeping your people alive amidst spreading famine and failing trade routes. Alongside traditional real-time strategy mechanics for gathering resources, building towns, and raising troops, the sequel introduces a Tactical Pause feature. This allows solo players to stop the action and plan strategic moves, supported by full save and load functionality across single-player modes, improved pathfinding, and revised AI.
Roadmap to Version 1.0
The Early Access launch represents the first phase of the release, with Acts 3 and 4 of the main story still in development. Wield Interactive plans to expand multiplayer and skirmish support up to six players, introduce a map editor, and implement ongoing balance and technical fixes before the final 1.0 release.
