The Path of Exile 2 ExileCon qualifiers are set to kick off next week, giving PC and console racers a chance to compete for a championship title in New Zealand. Hosted by ZiggyD and Raiz, the competition spans four separate qualifier events throughout August 2026.

Format and Rules
During each qualifier event, competitors race to become the first player to defeat Tavakai in Act Four. The competition uses a Solo Self-Found Runes of Aldur format featuring a fixed layout.
While the qualifiers are not Hardcore events, dying carries a strict penalty: players must wait two and a half minutes before their character can move again. The first player to kill Tavakai in each event wins an ultra VIP ExileCon ticket, a Demigod's Virtue Unique Helmet, and flights and accommodation in Auckland, New Zealand.
How to Participate
To enter, players must link their Path of Exile account to Twitch by visiting the official connections page. On race day, click the "Join" button on the Character Select screen to create your event character, which will remain stationary until the race officially begins.
Competitors advancing to the live finale in New Zealand will be able to bring their own .build files and preferred gaming peripherals for use on PC.
