A fresh update for NTE is scheduled for PC players on July 29, 2026. Developers have scheduled server maintenance alongside a packed patch containing a new exclusive S-Class character, a limited Arc, multiple time-limited events, and various bug fixes.

Maintenance Schedule and Compensation

To prepare for the new update, NTE will undergo server maintenance on July 29, 2026, running from 06:00 to 11:00 (UTC+8). Access to the 'Pink Paws Heist' mode will close slightly earlier at 05:30 (UTC+8). Players are required to restart their game after maintenance concludes to install the latest files.

Appraisers who created their characters before the maintenance window opens at 06:00 (UTC+8) will receive 300 Annulith delivered directly through in-game mail. Additionally, the 'Before the Dawn' Limited Board and its associated Resolve Perks are active until July 29 at 05:59 (UTC+8).

New Character: Iroi and The Lifeline Board

The headline addition in this update is Iroi, a new exclusive S-Class character. To unlock Iroi, players must first complete the main story quest titled 'Prologue - A New Destination - Head to Eibon Antique Shop'. Once unlocked, she features dedicated City Hangouts, a Home Time invitation mode, text message conversations, a combat tutorial, and Bond quests that unlock passenger seat ride-alongs upon reaching the required Bond Level.

'The Lifeline' Limited Board runs from July 29 after the update until August 19, 2026, at 05:59 (UTC+8). The board features Iroi alongside A-Class characters Haniel, Aurelia, and Skia. Rolling on the board also gives players a chance to obtain the 'Sheepcopter' glider livery, the 'Three's Company' B100 livery, and Iroi's 'Archmage' outfit.

New S-Class Arc and Outfit Shop Additions

Alongside the character banner, a new limited S-Class Arc called 'The Wrong Gate' arrives through the 'Dreamgate Special' Arc Research Program. Players can spend Tri-Keys or Dreamgate Keys during the program period, which runs from July 29 to August 19, 2026.

Iroi receives multiple outfits with this update:

  • Dreamweaver: Available at a discounted price of Riftcrystal x2,680 (down from x3,280) between July 29 and August 19, 2026.
  • Summer Dream: Available at a discounted price of Riftcrystal x1,680 (down from x2,480) during the same window. Both outfits remain permanently in the shop after the discount period ends.
  • Archmage: Obtained via 'The Lifeline' Limited Board or Wayfarer Perks.
  • Channeling…: Purchased from the '999 Nights' Button Shop.
  • Starlit Night: Unlocked after obtaining Iroi and reaching Bond Lvl 10.

Limited-Time Events Schedule

Several events will roll out across August 2026:

  • 'Going, Going, Gone!' (July 29 – August 19, 2026): An auction-themed event rewarding the 'Highest Bidder Wins' title, 'Choice' avatar frame, 'Deal!' namecard, Annulith, Fabricated Dice, Fons, and more.
  • 'Fishing Frenzy' (August 3 – August 19, 2026): Takes place at the Sea Angler - Nacupeda Park Fishing Spot for rewards including Elite Hunter Guides and Chaotic Dye.
  • 'Pixel Surge' (August 3 – August 10, 2026): Grants double rewards for spending Character Pixels in Houdinii's Magic Stage, Houdinii's Schemes, Bubble Can Factory, and Rabbit Hole up to a daily and total cap.
  • 'Warren Lucky Flip' (August 5 – August 19, 2026): Daily missions unlock card flips for rewards like the 'Matcha Mood' Rover A1 livery.
  • 'Fons Rush' (August 10 – August 17, 2026): Doubles Fons output when spending City Stamina in Hethereau Hobbies.

Bug Fixes and Improvements

The update also addresses several technical issues, including a fix for Shadow-n-Seek where hiders occasionally transformed into incorrect character models, a fix for passenger NPCs failing to appear during Swift Travel, and an issue preventing map pins on the Warren Continent from being deleted in Controller mode. Random crashes related to playing 999 Nights have also been resolved.
