Gameplay and Combat Mechanics
Players take on the role of an unnamed young woman equipped only with a lantern to navigate combat, puzzles, and exploration. According to developer updates on Bluesky, combat draws inspiration from Parasite Eve. Players can use the lantern to flash enemies and blind them in turn, building on earlier demo mechanics that also utilized the light source to reveal hidden items.
Additional features teased on the game's Steam page include mechanics allowing players to enter paintings inspired by sin, grief, and memories, manipulate time, and sacrifice sanity to restore health.
Player Availability
While an official release date has not been shared by 2dchaos, PC players can currently add the high-contrast survival horror title to their Steam wishlists.
