The development team for Hell Let Loose: Vietnam has released its 2026 roadmap, detailing a series of updates, new weaponry, and major gameplay features planned for the PC title throughout the remainder of the year.

Quick Facts

  • Update 1.5 (September 2026): Introduces the M14 and SKS rifles, plus the officially licensed Bell UH-1 Iroquois 'Huey' helicopter.
  • Update 2.0: Adds the 'Khe Sanh' map and integrates ANZAC forces into the US & Allies faction with new weapons like the L1A1 SLR and F1 SMG.
  • Update 3.0: Includes the 'Rung Sat' map, APCs for both sides, and additional weaponry including the Stoner 63 and SVD Dragunov.

Helicopter Radios and Music

A primary feature of the upcoming updates is the implementation of the officially licensed Bell UH-1 Iroquois. Co-pilots will gain the ability to use onboard radios to play Vietnam War-era music. This audio will be audible both to those inside the helicopter and to players on the ground as the aircraft passes overhead. Content creators can manage this feature via a dedicated Music Volume setting to avoid potential copyright issues.

Faction and System Expansions

Update 2.0 will expand the US faction into the "US & Allies" group, incorporating ANZAC personnel and assets. This update also brings the L16A1 mortar to the battlefield. Later in the year, Update 3.0 will introduce the Navy SEALs and Green Berets alongside the Stoner 63 assault rifle.

To support organized play, the developers are introducing the "Battalions" system. This feature aims to provide a hub for clans and community groups to track statistics, form persistent squads, and progress collectively within the game. The team continues to prioritize performance, bug fixes, and general stability improvements across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series consoles alongside these content drops.
