Rockstar Games has officially confirmed the details for the next major content drop for GTA Online. The Kortz Center Heist is set to arrive on all platforms on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. This release marks the first dedicated heist update for the game since 2020’s Cayo Perico.

Heist Mechanics and Preparation

The mission tasks players with infiltrating a prestigious art museum to steal high-value assets. You will be working alongside the character Mr. Faber and his fixer, Raf De Angelis. Gameplay involves a significant focus on preparation, including scouting the location and taking candid photographs of exhibits to determine how to bypass security measures. Rockstar notes that success requires players to cover their tracks, ensure there are no witnesses, and wipe CCTV footage.

To facilitate the heist, players can acquire a new art studio property, which is situated within their mansion. This space serves as a hub to host friends and showcase stolen art pieces. The studio is essential for kicking off the heist and managing the rewards of your criminal activities.

Variability and Rewards

Rockstar has built in a layer of replayability, promising three new paintings to steal every week. The update also introduces a variety of new vehicles and vehicle upgrades to the game. For those with a GTA+ subscription, the new Grotti Veleno GT will be available for free starting on the release date of July 14, providing a one-week exclusivity window before it becomes available to the general player base.

While the Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid introduced a heist-like experience in recent years, it was technically categorized as a Raid and Contact mission. The Kortz Center Heist is positioned as the first official heist content to join the game in six years, arriving as questions persist regarding the future of online play alongside the upcoming GTA 6.
