Developer Hello Andromeda announced Fog'n'Silence, an open-world RPG set in the Afterlife, during the 2026 Ukrainian Games Festival. The game is currently in development for PC, focusing on party management and tactical survival.
Gameplay Mechanics
Players control a group of characters known as Vagrants via a flying drone. The core gameplay loop involves exploring a vast, surreal world while balancing the needs of your party. Key mechanics include:
- Tactical Combat: A simultaneous-turn system where players and enemies plot their actions before they play out at the same time.
- Survival Elements: Managing lasting injuries, hunger, and sanity levels.
- Party Management: Larger groups offer increased carrying capacity and more skills but generate more noise and are more difficult to sustain.
Progression and World
Fog'n'Silence utilizes roguelike elements, requiring players to build their party anew during each run. If a party is wiped out, progress is partially preserved through a Compendium, which retains knowledge of the world, completed quests, and character relationships.
According to studio co-founder Vlad Muntian, the project draws inspiration from titles such as Kenshi, Death Stranding, and Outer Wilds. The game features an environment filled with transmogrifying fog, blind monsters, and unique physics-based hazards.
