Expanding the World of Norga
The core of the expansion centers on a brand-new region called Norga. According to Oyama, the narrative experience within this region is expected to take players between 15 and 20 hours to finish.
Beyond the main scenario, the development team is integrating twelve unique dungeons into the base game. Each of these dungeons is designed to take approximately 30 minutes to an hour to clear. When combined with the new story, these additions form the bulk of the 25-plus hours of gameplay promised by the developers.

The Dark Arisen expansion will be available across all major platforms, including the Nintendo Switch 2, which will receive a port of the game. For players who have not yet picked up the title, Capcom will offer a package that includes both the base game and the Dark Arisen expansion. For existing players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC, the expansion will be sold as a standalone purchase.
Oyama noted that for those who have yet to play the base game, the combination of the original title—which offers 30 to 40 hours of gameplay—and the expansion provides a substantial experience for new players.
