Bethesda has launched a 40th anniversary sale on Steam, offering significant discounts across its catalog, including content for Doom: The Dark Ages. The sale is scheduled to run through August 13, coinciding with this year's QuakeCon.

Quick Facts: Current Bethesda Steam Sale

  • Expansion Deal: Doom: The Dark Ages — Revelations is currently 50% off, priced at $10.
  • Base Game Deal: Doom: The Dark Ages is available at a 67% discount, reduced to $23.
  • End Date: All featured discounts expire on August 13.

Revelations, which launched on July 7, is included in the promotion alongside other titles from subsidiaries id Software and Arkane. While the sale provides an opportunity to acquire these titles at lower price points, it follows a period of organizational restructuring for the publisher, including layoffs at Bethesda Game Studios, ZeniMax Online, and id Software, as well as the transition of Arkane to a separate entity.

Other notable items in the sale include the studio's full Arkane catalog for $54. While Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is not currently discounted, it remains available for purchase at $10.
