Messhof, the development team behind Nidhogg and Wheel World, has confirmed that its new action roguelike, Blood Dungeon, will release for PC on August 25, 2026. Players interested in testing the game's mechanics ahead of the full launch can currently access a playable demo via Steam.

Blood Dungeon is designed as a bullet heaven platformer with a heavy emphasis on movement-based mechanics. Players must navigate hazards across walls, ceilings, and watery depths in a title characterized by a distinct “squiggly” art style and a “dungeon dnb” soundtrack produced by Thomas Hooey.
