Set in the noir-inspired Gotham City of the animated series, Batman: Caped Crusader – Chronicles casts players as a GCPD task force working alongside Detective Montoya and within Batman's inner circle. Players work together through 11 episodic missions to decode evidence, chase leads, and interrogate suspects.

Each episode introduces sleuthing minigames designed to test deduction skills. Opposing the player task force is a lineup from Batman's Rogues Gallery, including Babyface, Scarecrow, Dollmaker, and The Joker.

Series stars Hamish Linklater and Michelle C. Bonilla reprise their roles as Batman and Detective Montoya, respectively, with additional voice talent planned for reveal ahead of launch.

Amazon's Day-and-Date Transmedia Push

Speaking to GamesBeat, Jeff Gattis, head of games at Amazon, highlighted the effort behind aligning a game launch directly with a television season premiere. Gattis noted that introducing a games tab directly into the Prime Video interface allows Amazon to showcase Luna content directly to its video audience.
