Overcoming Character Creator Presets
Larian Studios' RPG relies entirely on face presets rather than custom sliders, meaning players are normally locked into eight specific head options tied directly to their chosen race. Half-elves, for instance, cannot access human or dwarf face assets under standard game rules.
To address this limitation, Nexus Mods user Bububull has developed a project allowing heads to cross racial boundaries. The latest updates introduce custom skeletons to the shared faces, minimizing animation errors and ensuring compatibility with different body proportions across tieflings, dwarves, halflings, and other character models. Support is fully established for body type one, with additional body type support rolling out in subsequent updates.
