Developer Larian Studios has marked the third anniversary of Baldur's Gate 3 by releasing a new batch of player data covering milestones, in-game murders, and technical setups across all platforms.

According to Larian's official data breakdown shared in a recent social media thread, the community has downloaded over 500 million mods since launch, supported by 13,000 unique uploads across all platforms.
The developer also detailed NPC mortality rates. Zevlor took the top spot as the most frequent victim of mysterious circumstances, and also ranked as the second-most-common target for Dark Urge players. Additionally, Larian noted that non-Dark Urge players managed to murder Alfira more frequently than Dark Urge players did.

The anniversary report concluded with hardware and display statistics, highlighting players running Baldur's Gate 3 in non-standard aspect ratios. Larian confirmed that 114 players utilized a 1:1 ratio, while a further 9,008 players experienced the game using a vertical 9:16 aspect ratio typically associated with multi-monitor productivity setups or mobile video streams.
