To dig up buried treasure, you cannot simply head to the coordinates; you must first find the associated map. Here is your guide to tracking down every piece of booty in the game.
Cape Bonavista and Havana
Cape Bonavista (Dry Tortuga)
Map Location (160, 580): In a cave next to the Mayan stone in the south. Reach it by heading into the mountains from the northernmost synchronization point.
Treasure Location (146, 587): In a cave on the southern beach where you start the game. Jump down from the southern synchronization point and turn right.

Map Location (218, 571): On a skeleton in a dried-up river near the church and General Store in the southeast.

Map Location (722, 607): On a skeleton on the northeastern edge of Salt Lagoon.

Map Location (543, 694): On the southern beach of Andreas Island, where you meet Kidd for the 'Sugarcane and its Yields' quest.

Map Location (191, 218): On the hill on the eastern edge of Santanillas, near the Mayan stele.
Treasure Location (455, 462): Dive past the jellyfish into the undersea cave to reach the smuggler's cove enemy camp. The chest is next to the first two pirates.

Map Location (31, 230): Next to the campfire on the northeastern beach of Corozal.
Treasure Location (30, 157): In a nook to the left after swimming through the cave and emerging into the ruins, before the large staircase.

Map Location (28, 160): Above the locked smuggler's chest at Ambergris Key.

Map Location (483, 19): From the beach fast travel point at Isla Providencia, head south along the sand and up the rising trail to find the corpse.
Treasure Location (503, 230): By the beach in the east. From the synchronization point, head west to the three huts; the treasure is just south of them.
