The latest AION 2 update brings the new Abyssal Forge: Ludra dungeon to the game, alongside significant balance adjustments for PvP and field bosses. The update also introduces a series of events running through November.

Abyssal Forge: Ludra Overview

Players can now access the Abyssal Forge: Ludra dungeon in two difficulties, both with a one-hour time limit. While Normal difficulty offers the same types of rewards as Hard, the drop rates vary between the two. The dungeon introduces new gear, including Ludra's Weapon, Guard, and two new bracelets—the Abyssal Bracelet and Ludra's Bracelet.

PvP and Schedule Adjustments

A new Chaotic Outer Reshanta mode has been added for players at level 45 and above. This mode standardizes player stats, skills, and stigma levels to create a balanced environment, with three hours of base weekly playtime. Notably, Abyss Points earned here are reduced by 50%.

Other schedule and field changes include:

  • Artifact Siege & Bosses: Moved to twice-weekly on Thursdays and Saturdays at 21:00 and 21:30 respectively.
  • Abyss Points: Increased by 50% per run in the Abyss Corridor to compensate for the reduced siege frequency.
  • Field Bosses: Respawn times for Gartua and High Commander Lagta reduced to 11 hours; Abyss Field Boss Argo now spawns twice daily at 10:30 and 22:30.

Crafting and Expedition Changes

New crafting recipes allow for 100% success rates when creating True Dragon and Star Dragon gear. These guaranteed crafts produce Bound items and do not trigger "Great Success" (Combo) bonuses. Additionally, rewards for specific Expedition dungeons—including Draupnir, Vakron Sky Island, and Ferocious Horn Den—have been increased to match Normal difficulty standards.

Current Events

Several events are currently active for players:

  • Ludra Conquest Check-In: Daily rewards through November 17 (PST) / November 18 (CET).
  • Odyle Energy Boost: Players receive 4x Odyle Energy via in-game mail daily through November 10 (PST) / November 11 (CET).
  • Ludra Hunt: A competition for the first 20 parties in each region to clear Hard mode, with exclusive titles awarded based on ranking.

Players should check their in-game mail to claim event items and visit the Color Palette UI if they wish to use the new Standard Color Code input field for customization.
