Alright, guys, let’s do this one last time. The game’s release is just around the corner, so we’re updating the demo once again.Global Balance AdjustmentsWe’ve made the first biome more beginner-friendly, adjusted trap damage and enemy counts, and slightly lowered the barrier to entry. That doesn’t mean the Meat Factory has turned into a walk in the park — there are still plenty of challenging sections, they just appear much later now. Ah If only you had seen the early versions of the game, where the green goo, presses, and lasers killed the player instantly. Those were the days.Updated Alley of the Dead SystemOut with the ammo, in with the container!Ammo has been completely removed from the game. It has been replaced by a container that the player always starts with by default. It can store a certain number of artifacts and larvae and carry them over into the next run.You can also buy a larger container in Sho’s shop. However, this container has its own durability, which decreases every time you visit the Alley of the Dead. New LocalizationWe’ve added full Chinese localization thanks to our partner, Vsoo Games. We’ve also added Japanese. Before release, we plan to add all of the remaining languages.Bug FixesFixed a bug where the loading screen would disappear if you died during the tutorial. You seriously died in the tutorial?Fixed a bug where the Worker could deal instant damage without playing an animation after recovering from a stun.Fixed a bug where the Inspector could deal contact damage while attacking.Fixed several localization issues.Fixed issues with some artifacts. We plan to officially announce the release date soon, so don’t miss the announcement!

As far as major updates go, this will be the last one. So let’s go through what exactly we’ve added: — Artifacts & UpgradesA lot of new artifacts of varying usefulness — but all of them are cool. Some are tied to new systems like luck and companions. Some are available right away, others must be found in chests. Building a specific setup is now much more straightforward and breaking the game is far more likely. — StoryPages scattered across the alien factory are waiting to be found. Let’s be honest: reading the first four parts will probably not answer your questions — if anything, you’ll have even more. But, to be fair, you might start to get a sense of what’s going on. Maybe. — Challenge RoomsFor those seeking a true challenge and a worthy reward, the challenge room opens its doors. There’s only one rule — survive. — CollectionsA new tab in the game menu where you can find almost all the useful information: you can view artifacts (which ones you’ve unlocked and which are yet to be found), read discovered story entries — for those who like to dig deep into the lore, and learn more about enemies. Can such a rich fauna really be ignored? — Tutorial UpdateTweaked a bit here, adjusted a bit there. Now don’t say we never told you anything! Though honestly, if your kind paid more attention to text, the learning process would go much faster. — New Voice-overWe’ve completely reworked the English voice-over. Now it’s easier to understand what that guy in his underwear is mumbling about. There’s also now a separate volume setting for voice. These are all the major additions in this version. On top of that, we’ve made plenty of smaller tweaks — though only the most observant will notice them. Future updates will mostly focus on bug fixes, with maybe a few minor improvements. In any case, the next stop is the full release. Final stop! Or, as we say in our two-dimensional world: 01001110 01101111 00101100 00100000 01110011 01100101 01110010 01101001 01101111 01110101 01110011 01101100 01111001 00100000 11100010 10000000 10010100 00100000 01100111 01101111 00100000 01110100 01101111 01110101 01100011 01101000 00100000 01110011 01101111 01101101 01100101 00100000 01100111 01110010 01100001 01110011 01110011
Final Demo Update Coming Soon

Greetings, vertebrate inhabitants of three-dimensional space (I can’t even imagine what that feels like). Today I’ll walk you through the changes we’re planning for the demo version. The update should arrive soon and, as we expect, will be the last major one — the full release is just around the corner. 1. StoryMany of you have been asking: does the game have a story, what’s actually going on here, why Gennady, and how did an ordinary middle-aged worker end up fused to a pair of underwear. Alright, jokes aside — the game does have a story. It will be delivered through comic book pages — fragments of memory, wrapped and scattered throughout the world. You’ll be able to find these pages while exploring biomes. Each one reveals a small piece of the narrative, closely tied to this world. And trust me — it’s not what you expect. We’re looking forward to your wildest theories after you collect all the pages in the updated demo. The ones we like most will receive uh a larva! 2. New Artifacts and Balance ChangesWith each iteration, we’ve been making the game more approachable. As a result, the average player can now progress further during a run — and sometimes even defeat the boss. New artifacts will give you even more ways to survive and smash alien faces more efficiently (and stylishly). Some existing artifacts have also been reworked — and yes, slightly nerfed. But it’s all fair: combined with the new additions, builds have become more meaningful and synergistic. 3. Challenge RoomsIf the cold corridors of the alien meat factory feel like a casual stroll to you, be sure to visit the challenge room. It’s located right after the first shop. The rules are simple: stay alive for a set amount of time. Each room is different and pushes your limits (and your luck). Succeed, and you’ll earn a truly valuable reward. Fail well, maybe it’s time for a few more laps around the factory. 4. Updated MusicWe’ve remastered the soundtrack — for those who appreciate high-quality audio. We think you’ll like it. We certainly did. 5. Tutorial ImprovementsWe’ve noticed that some of your kind still struggle to understand certain aspects of the gameplay. Not surprising — it’s hard to explain the rules of a two-dimensional existence to three-dimensional beings. But we’re confident that the updated tutorial will make things much clearer and help you better understand what you can do in this world. Alongside these major updates, we’ve also refined numerous smaller details: enemy and economy balance, level design tweaks, and various quality-of-life improvements. We’ll let you know as soon as the update goes live — so switch to waiting mode and wait!

Greetings, 3D inhabitants of a 2D world! In this update, we’ll walk you through the new features in the demo version. While the main game is still under intensive development, we continue to refine the game systems and mechanics in the demo so you can experience the full, concentrated power of the updated gameplay.Be sure to leave your feedback — we read it and make adjustments based on your input, and there’s plenty of new content in this update! Rage ModeBy killing enemies and destroying bio-blocks, the character can temporarily enter a special Rage Mode, gaining full immunity to damage and enhanced mobility. Although this state is temporary, defeating enemies and destroying bio-blocks while enraged extends its duration. During Rage Mode, the music also becomes more dynamic.New Health SystemSome enemies and traps now deal half-heart damage. We hope this improves the entry threshold for new players and makes taking damage from traps feel fairer.Boss UpdateWe redesigned the boss arena and made attack patterns more obvious. A health bar and the boss's name have also been added. Meet Nogl!Camera UpdateMany players reported that the old camera could cause discomfort and even dizziness. The new camera is smoother and provides a better view ahead of the player.Improved ImpactDealing and receiving damage now feels more powerful and expressive, accompanied by matching VFX.Training and Room UpdatesWe made the training section clearer and easier to follow, reworked some old rooms, and added new ones.Statistics ScreenNow, after death, you can see your progress and actions on the biome.Quality of Life ChangesOptimized gamepad supportPassive dash recharge can no longer be interrupted by acquiring dash from another sourceShockwave now generates dash charges when destroying bio-blocksInvulnerability window now works against damage from pits and slimeTaking damage from pits and slime gives a double jump chargeSound settings are now more flexibleReduced delay between punch attacks
