In Splatoon Raiders, your Hideout Ship serves as more than just a home base for the Mechanic and Deep Cut. By investing in ship upgrades, you unlock essential facilities for your gear and expand your training capabilities. To get the most out of your boat, you need to manage your resources and progress through the main story.

How to Unlock Ship Upgrades

Upgrading your ship is a two-step process that requires both preparation and story progression. Before you can trigger an upgrade, you must complete all outstanding ship facility upgrades—such as tank or weapon recycling improvements. Once your current upgrade list is clear, you must reach specific points in the game:

  • Level Two: Unlock this by clearing Bowtlode Temple.
  • Level Three: Unlock this by completing the final stage of Gildred Island.

Required Materials

Once you hit the story requirements, you must provide the following materials to the Mechanic to initiate the construction:

Level Two Upgrade Costs

  • 1x Spirhalite gem
  • 1x Steel eel's jaw
  • 5x Salty tongue's buckets
  • 1,000 Spirhalite shards

Level Three Upgrade Costs
