The Team Rocket’s Ambition expansion has arrived in Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, introducing a variety of cards and events centered on the franchise's recurring antagonist organization. The update is available now for mobile players.
New Cards and Cosmetics
This expansion focuses on Team Rocket-themed Pokémon and Trainer cards. Beyond the cards themselves, players can expect new customization options for their collections. On August 31st, the game will add covers and backdrops featuring Giovanni and his partner, Persian.
Limited-Time Events and Rewards
The launch includes several ways to earn items through late August and September:
- The Great Puzzle Challenge: Available on the official website until September 30th, this series of puzzles rewards players with a code for in-game pack hourglasses.
- Team Rocket’s Ambition Emblem Event: A battle-focused event where players can earn emblems, Shinedust, and other items.
- Solo-Battle and Wonder Pick Events: Upcoming events will offer promo packs featuring Team Rocket’s Lapras, followed by a Wonder Pick event featuring Fennekin and Meowstic.
Special missions are also active, rewarding players with "shady tickets." The specific function of these tickets has not yet been detailed by the developers.
