DeNa has confirmed that Pokémon TCG Pocket's next expansion, Ruler of the Skies, will arrive on July 31. The update follows closely behind the release of the Everyday Wonders set, bringing fresh additions to the mobile card game on iOS and Android devices.

New Mega Pokémon and Attacks
The headline additions to the game are powerful new ex cards. Mega Rayquaza ex makes its debut with the attack Mega Burst, which requires one Fire and one Electric energy and forces the player to discard all attached energy after attacking.
Meanwhile, Mega Gallade ex enters with 220 HP and the Resonating Blade attack, dealing 100 damage for three energy (one Fighting, two colourless), plus an extra 50 damage if a Supporter card was played that turn. It arrives alongside the new Supporter card Wally, which lets players attach one Energy to a Stage 2 Pokémon to speed up setup times.
Quality-of-Life Updates and QR Codes
Beyond the cards themselves, the update introduces practical changes for collectors and deck builders. Players can soon share custom decks using a QR code. Additionally, DeNa is introducing a new booster pack category that guarantees a four-diamond or higher rarity card once specific conditions are met.
