PancitoMerge, the Suika-style puzzle game from developer Antonio Uribe (FayerDev), is now available on Android. Following its release on PC and Nintendo Switch earlier this year, the title brings its artisanal, Mexican bakery-inspired mechanics to mobile devices.
Quick Facts
- Developer: Antonio Uribe (FayerDev)
- Genre: Falling-block puzzle
- Platforms: Android (now available), PC, Nintendo Switch
- Content: Three distinct bakeries with 12 unique bread varieties each
Gameplay and Mechanics
The core loop involves dropping various types of pan dulce—such as conchas and cuernitos—into a bag. When two identical pieces of bread bump into each other, they merge into a single, larger, higher-level treat. The game is set within a visually detailed environment designed to mimic a small, flour-dusted local panadería.
As you progress, the game introduces a customer request system. Every five drops, a customer appears and requests a specific item. Players can choose to fulfill these requests by tapping the corresponding bread in their bag or ignore them entirely. If ignored, the customer's request will cycle to a new item after another five drops.
Bakeries and Discovery
PancitoMerge tracks your discoveries through an in-game compendium. The game currently features three different bakery settings to unlock, each with its own theme and specific bread varieties:
- Traditional Mexican Bakery: Focused on classic local treats.
- Day of the Dead Bakery: Features a themed aesthetic.
- JapoMexa Bakery: A fusion environment blending Mexican and Japanese influences.
Each setting includes twelve unique breads to discover, encouraging players to experiment with different combinations to complete their collection.
