Developer MAJOR9 has released a new update for the anime-style RPG Outerplane, headlined by the arrival of the Dark-element Ranger, Demiurge Saeran. The patch is available now for players on iOS and Android.

New Hero and Event Details

Demiurge Saeran debuts with a distinct dual-form combat mechanic. During battle, she functions in her Saint form until her HP hits a predefined threshold, at which point she permanently transforms into her Demon form. This state grants her a powerful attack that targets all enemies while applying supportive buffs to the rest of the player's team.

Alongside the character release, the update introduces the “Reverie of Falling Petals” event dungeon. Players can progress through this limited-time story expedition to earn event-specific currency, which can be exchanged in the event shop for growth materials and other items.

Upcoming Steam Launch and Anniversaries

This update precedes a busy autumn for Outerplane. MAJOR9 is preparing for the first service transfer anniversary in October and has officially confirmed plans to bring the title to PC via Steam. While a specific release date for the Steam version remains unannounced, the studio is expected to share further development details at the Tokyo Game Show 2026, which runs from September 17 to September 21.

Action Required

Players can access the new content immediately by downloading the latest version of the game from the App Store or Google Play. Additionally, MAJOR9 is hosting participation events throughout the update window, including daily login bonuses, mission completion rewards, and the Lucky Capsule event to assist with character progression.
