Moonton is celebrating the first anniversary of Acecraft with a substantial content update. Following the game's recent return to storefronts in the USA, players can now access new gameplay features, including a fresh pilot, an increased progression cap, and a higher difficulty setting.
New Pilot: Blazewing Ekko
The update introduces Blazewing Ekko, a variant of the game's original hero. Ekko pilots a plane equipped with flame-based weaponry. His primary mechanic centers on his taunts; as enemies become more furious, the energy directed toward Ekko's plane increases, which directly bolsters his firepower and movement speed.
Progression and Content Updates
The anniversary update expands the core game systems to allow for further character development and steeper challenges:
- Amp System: Players can now level up their pilots beyond the previous cap of 60.
- Chapter 16: A new story chapter, Chordwind Grove, has been added to the game.
- Nightmare Mode: A new difficulty tier is available to test the capabilities of fully leveled characters.
Anniversary Events and Rewards
During the celebration, players can participate in the Anniversary Fireworks Show. By completing events and engaging with content in areas like Tempus Trek, players can collect Anniversary Sparklers. These items can be exchanged for various rewards. Moonton has also implemented additional login bonuses to mark the milestone.
