The Pokemon Company has announced its latest large-scale project for fans: the Pokemon Celebration Journey puzzle. Developed in collaboration with tabletop manufacturer Ravensburger, the set features 40,320 pieces and is scheduled for an official release on October 7, 2026.

Quick Facts

  • Piece Count: 40,320 pieces
  • MSRP: $729.99
  • Dimensions: 268 inches (over 22 feet) long
  • Release Date: October 7, 2026

Design and Assembly

The puzzle is divided into ten distinct sections, each featuring different thematic environments populated by various Pokemon. According to the announcement, the artwork includes a wide selection of the 1,025 currently recognized Pokemon. Examples of the settings include an abandoned power plant, which features Muk and Magneton, and a cave section containing Clefable, Steelix, and Zubat. Certain Pokemon, such as Pikachu and the various Eeveelutions, appear across multiple sections of the mural.

Because the puzzle spans over 22 feet, The Pokemon Company and Ravensburger have structured the design so that it can be assembled and displayed as ten individual, smaller puzzles if the user lacks the space to mount the full 268-inch length.

Availability and Ordering

Pre-orders for the Pokemon Celebration Journey puzzle are currently open via Amazon at an MSRP of $729.99. For those looking for smaller-scale projects, The Pokemon Company is also set to release 15 additional Pokemon-themed Lego sets on August 1, 2026, as well as a Poke Ball set featuring the franchise's first-ever minifigures later this year.
