Aegidron is one of the most formidable new Pals introduced in Palworld 1.0. As an alpha boss, it serves as a significant endgame challenge, but it is well worth the effort to capture for its powerful defensive capabilities and utility at your base.

How to Find and Capture Aegidron

You won't find Aegidron wandering randomly in the wild. It has a fixed spawn point as an alpha boss located near the World Tree. To reach it, head to the large door in the World Tree area, drop down the cliff, and search near the water body below. The boss fight will trigger automatically once you are in range.

Tips for the fight:

  • Type Advantage: Aegidron is susceptible to Leaf and Ice-type attacks. Bring Pals of these types to chip away its health more effectively.
  • Capture: Once its health is low, use a Sol Sphere to capture it.

Aegidron Skills and Utility

Aegidron is a powerhouse for both your party and your base. It features level 8 Mining, making it an excellent worker for gathering resources. In combat, its "Indestructible Fortress" partner skill is a game-changer: it reduces damage taken by your party from explosions by 60%, grants immunity to Stun, provides boosted Defense, and renders your team immune to Knockdowns.

Active Skills

Aegidron unlocks the following skills as it levels up:

  • Level 1: Stone Blast
  • Level 7: Blast Cannon
  • Level 15: Rockburst
  • Level 22: Charge Cannon
  • Level 30: Sand Twister
  • Level 40: Rocky Impact
  • Level 50: Dragon Meteor
  • Level 70: Missile Burst

The Best Aegidron Build

To maximize Aegidron's effectiveness in your party, I recommend focusing on its most damaging output. By level 70, you should aim for the following active skill loadout:

  • Missile Burst
  • Dragon Meteor
  • Rocky Impact

For passive skills, Heavyweight is currently the top choice to improve its utility. If you are breeding for a specialized version, keep an eye out for new traits if you have engaged with the game's mutation mechanics.

Breeding Combinations

If you prefer to obtain Aegidron through breeding rather than catching the alpha boss, you can use the following combinations:

  • Aegidron + Bastigor
  • Neptilius + Bastigor
  • Blazamut Ryu + Bastigor
  • Pathantalus + Jetdragon
  • Neptilius + Jetdragon

Note: Breeding Aegidron with Lyleen Noct is also believed to work, though it is currently unverified.
