Torn Banner Studios has confirmed that No More Room in Hell 2 will launch on August 11 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The cooperative horror first-person shooter arrives following two years of Early Access development.

Console Debut and Feature Parity
The upcoming launch marks the franchise's debut on consoles. Green Man Gaming executive vice president of publishing Chris Jones noted that the release brings the tactical horror experience to console audiences previously underserved in the genre. Designed with feature parity at its core, PlayStation and Xbox players will experience the exact same gameplay systems, survival mechanics, and achievements as PC players, supported by full cross-play integration for faster matchmaking.
Version 1.0 Content and Quality-of-Life Updates
The 1.0 release incorporates over 8,000 community-driven bug fixes and performance optimizations gathered throughout Early Access. Key additions include:
- New Game Modes: A risk-free Solo Mode for map practice without permadeath, and the action-packed horde-defense Survival Mode.
- Expanded Maps: Four new environments consisting of Flooded, NOTLD, and Lighthouse for Survival, alongside Bunker for Objective mode.
- Overhauled Difficulty Tiers: Beginner (timed respawns), Normal (objective-based respawns), and retuned Hard and Nightmare tiers.
- Quality-of-Life Tools: A pause-menu "Unstuck" button, match reconnect functionality, and user interface improvements.
- Merit and Assignment Systems: Earn non-purchasable gameplay currency by completing Weekly Assignments.
Pre-Orders and Launch Discounts
Ahead of the August 11 release, the eight-player cooperative title is available for pre-order on the Xbox store with a 20 percent discount. Launch-day offers begin on August 11, providing 35 percent off on Steam and the Epic Games Store, and 20 percent off on the Xbox and PlayStation Stores.
To establish a level playing field for the global launch, all players will start fresh on Day One. Early Access players will receive exclusive tiered rewards based on their historical play, unlocking unique cosmetic packs and more.
