"MOUSE: P.I. for Hire reaching over 1 million players has filled the team with an immeasurable amount of gratitude and appreciation for our community," said Fumi Games founder and CEO Mateusz Michalak. "From what started as a simple concept of a 1930s themed cartoon shooter, the game has reached more players than we could have possibly imagined."

Ongoing Support and Future Content

Since its launch on April 16, 2026, the studio has focused on refining the player experience. Recent efforts include the implementation of a "Level Revisit" feature, allowing players to return to completed areas, and the release of physical editions of the game. Looking ahead, the studio confirmed that story-based downloadable content is currently in the works.

"Our priority has always been to put players first, and we have worked incredibly hard to continue to achieve that goal, both throughout the game’s development and also post-launch," Michalak added. "With our recent major update... and also upcoming story [downloadable content], we hope that players are excited about all things MOUSE: P.I. for Hire."

While the title is currently available on current-generation consoles and PC, the team has confirmed that ports for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One are still planned for a later date.
