Season 14 of Diablo 4 introduces the Corrupted Reaper as a new endgame lair boss. Whether you are hunting for high-level gear or looking to complete your seasonal objectives, here is everything you need to know to take her down.

⚡ Quick Facts
  • Quest Requirement: Complete Rising Tide, Setting Sun, and The Looming Night.
  • Difficulty Requirement: Must unlock Torment I.
  • Location: Pandemonium Rift in Zarbinzet.
  • Key Item: Greater Lair Key required for the boss cache.

How to Summon the Corrupted Reaper

Before you can face the Corrupted Reaper, you must progress through the seasonal questline. Specifically, you need to complete the following quests:

  • Rising Tide
  • Setting Sun
  • The Looming Night

Note that completing Rising Tide and Setting Sun requires you to have already unlocked Torment I difficulty. Once these requirements are met, head to Zarbinzet and enter the Pandemonium Rift. You can initiate the encounter by interacting with the pedestal inside.

Boss Fight Mechanics and Strategy

The Corrupted Reaper relies on speed and area-of-effect (AoE) damage. While she is manageable solo, fighting in a group makes the encounter significantly easier. Your primary goal throughout the fight is to avoid her Soul Traps.

Attack How it works
Teleport She leaps to the center of the map, dealing massive AoE damage upon landing.
Soul Shots Slow-moving projectiles that debuff your movement speed.
Soul Dash She dashes in a straight line, triggering any Soul Traps in her path.
Trap Rush She places multiple Soul Traps and attempts to activate them.

Avoid standing in the path of her Soul Dash, as she will trigger any active traps you are near. If you stay mobile and clear the traps when possible, you should be able to survive her burst windows.

Rewards and Loot

Defeating the Corrupted Reaper rewards you with a cache, which requires a Greater Lair Key to open. The cache is guaranteed to contain Pandemonium Fragments and at least one item with 850 Item Power. Depending on your current Torment difficulty, the cache also carries a chance to drop Mythic Uniques, with higher difficulties offering better drop rates.
