If you have welcomed Eeyore to your village and are looking to clear more fog from the biomes, you have likely started Interlude 2: The Gloomy Hollow. This quest tasks you with exploring the Everoak Tree, but you will need to do some legwork to get the job done.

Steps to Complete The Gloomy Hollow

  1. Travel to the Gloommeadow entrance of the Everoak Tree with Eeyore.
  2. Interact with the Art-full Place next to the tree to gain entry.
  3. Find three broken honeypot pieces inside the tree.
  4. Use a crafting station to repair the Sun-Glow honeypot.
  5. Place the repaired pot in the alcove near the honeycomb.
  6. Solve the picture puzzle on the floor.
  7. Collect the Primary Colors Potion and use it to upgrade your Watering Can.

Locating the Honeypot Pieces

Inside the Everoak Tree, you will find a note near a honeycomb. To proceed, you need to place Sun-Glow honey in the alcove, but the pot is currently broken. You will find the three necessary pieces in these locations:

  • Piece 1: Right in front of the note and honeycomb.
  • Piece 2: On the left side of the room, past the puzzle area. Use your tools to break the nearby driftwood trunks to reveal it.
  • Piece 3: In the fishing spot located at the top of the tree's staircase.

Once you have all three pieces, head to the crafting station inside the tree to craft the repaired Sun-Glow honeypot, then place it in the designated alcove.

Solving Eeyore’s Picture Puzzle

The final hurdle is a floor puzzle featuring Eeyore and Winnie the Pooh. To solve it, interact (dig) with the tiles in this specific order to ensure they match the correct image:

  1. Orange leaf file: Dig until it shows part of Winnie the Pooh’s head.
  2. Orange tile with Eeyore’s head: Dig until it displays both Winnie the Pooh and Eeyore.
  3. Center tile: Dig until it aligns with the surrounding pieces.
  4. Water drop tile (next to center): Dig to match the surrounding images.
  5. Bottom-left corner: Dig until you see Eeyore’s tail and Winnie the Pooh’s foot on a pale purple background.
  6. Middle tile: Dig until Eeyore’s legs appear with a star background.
  7. Bottom-right corner: Dig until it completes the picture.

After the puzzle is solved, you will receive the Primary Colors Potion. Bring this to Eeyore, then use it in your inventory to upgrade your Watering Can and continue your adventure.
