Embracer Group has confirmed that Darksiders 4 and the next entry in the Kingdom Come franchise are slated to launch between April 2027 and March 2028. The release window was disclosed in Embracer's latest interim report, placing both titles within the publisher's fiscal year 2027/28.

Darksiders 4 Development and Gameplay Details
Announced in August 2025, Darksiders 4 is currently in development at Gunfire Games. While concrete gameplay footage remains scarce following the initial announcement, Embracer's report confirms the project is targeting a launch by March 2028 at the latest.
The upcoming action title picks up after the events of the original Darksiders. It will allow players to control any of the four horsemen of the apocalypse, with each character offering unique gameplay mechanics.
Kingdom Come and Other Embracer Lineup Plans
Warhorse Studios' next instalment in the Kingdom Come series—likely to be named Kingdom Come Salvation—is also targeted for the 2027/28 fiscal year window. Specific platform details for the upcoming open-world RPG remain unannounced.
Alongside these two headliners, Embracer Group's fiscal year 2027/28 plans feature Crystal Dynamics' externally published Tomb Raider: Catalyst, alongside upcoming titles from Flying Wild Hog and Eidos Montreal.
