How to Protect Your Modded Playthrough
Players wishing to maintain their current mod load order can disable automatic updates through Steam. By preventing the game client from pulling the latest patch, you can continue playing your current setup while waiting for the community to update necessary mods.
Steps to Disable Updates:

appmanifest_489830.acf. - Right-click the file and select Properties.
- Enable the Read-only attribute and save your changes.
Setting this file to read-only prevents Steam from overwriting your current game version. Note that while this keeps your existing mods functional, any new mods designed specifically for the updated version of the game will not be compatible with your current build.
