About the Original Game
Cyber Cycles is a racing game originally released by Namco Limited (current Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc.) in 1995. The title originally featured a large bike-style cabinet design in arcades. Set against the backdrop of near-future motorcycle racing, players choose from a lineup of unique machines with different performance features to cross the finish line ahead of rivals.
Series Features and Modes
The Arcade Archives series aims to faithfully reproduce classic arcade games. "Original Mode" includes convenience features such as difficulty and display settings, button remapping, rapid-fire options, multiple save files, a rewind function, and CRT TV display settings. Players can also compete in "HI SCORE MODE" and "CARAVAN MODE" via online rankings.
The Arcade Archives 2 series adds a "Time Attack Mode" focused on completion speed regardless of score. Additionally, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support is included to more accurately replicate the original arcade hardware experience.
