Edit AI settings on the individual move assignment
In Create-A-Moveset, view the attack’s move assignment and open the AI Settings option for that move. These are per-move settings, letting you influence when and how the AI performs assigned attacks rather than changing a single universal aggression slider. [1]
The three controls are Priority, Repetition and Timing. Adjust the one matching the behavior you want to change. [1]
Steps
Use Priority to change the chance of choosing the move
Preferred raises the likelihood of the attack. Favorite tells the AI to try to perform it at least once during the match, including setting it up. Low and Very Low reduce its priority. Favorite is described as an attempt, not a guarantee that match conditions will always allow the move. [1]
Steps
- Choose Low or Very Low when the aim is reducing that attack’s priority. [1]
Change whether the AI repeats the attack soon
The default behavior avoids repeating an attack too soon. Repetition modifies that behavior separately from the move’s overall priority. [1]
Use it to discourage repeats or encourage consecutive use. A frequently chosen move and a move repeated immediately are different behaviors, which is why both controls exist. [1]
Choose the match phase for the attack
Timing controls the phase of the match in which the attack should be used. [1]
Choose Early or Late behavior according to the move’s intended place in the match. This influences attack selection timing, not the speed of its animation or a timed reversal window. [1]
Keep the AI choices with the moveset
The report covers more than 150 moveset slots, including springboards, dives and submissions. The AI settings save with the moveset and are supported by Community Creations, so the behavior customisation accompanies the shared moveset rather than being a separate global preset. [1]
