Wreckfest: How to Earn Fame in Solo Tournament Challenges

Use the replacement solo challenges, beat the developer score targets and plan around daily and two-week challenge rotation.

Use the solo challenges that replace leaderboard events

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

Wreckfest’s Solo Tournament system replaces leaderboard-based challenges with solo challenges against developer-set scores. The objective is to beat the score target, rather than wait for a live leaderboard competition to finish. A missing old leaderboard event can therefore reflect the announced system change. [1]

Complete tournament challenges to build fame

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

The developer explicitly connects completed tournament challenges with fame and tournament-shop rewards. Enter the available solo challenges and work toward their targets at your own pace; the announcement does not require finishing above every other online player to earn fame. [1]

Steps

  1. Choose a current Solo Tournament challenge and work to beat its displayed score target. [1]
  2. Use the fame earned through tournament challenges toward the rewards in the tournament shop. [1]

Check the challenge rotation regularly

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

The available challenges rotate. The developer says challenges rotate daily, while even the longest-lasting ones rotate every two weeks. If a specific event is no longer available, compare that change with the rotation rather than assuming the mode has disappeared. [1]

Steps

  1. Return regularly to see the current challenge selection and additional reward opportunities. [1]

Treat gold as the challenge’s score goal

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

The Solo Tournament announcement describes gold as easier to score in the replacement challenges. It does not publish one universal gold score or fame payout for every event. Use the active challenge’s target instead of applying a number from another event. [1]

Keep storefront crossplay separate from fame progression

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

PC multiplayer crossplay is a later, separate feature. It lets Steam, GOG and Epic Games Store players share lobbies, but that announcement does not change the Solo Tournament score-target explanation. Playing an ordinary crossplay lobby is not presented here as a substitute for completing tournament challenges. [2]
