Cryo Core throwing and loss of functionality: Hotfix 44.1.1
The October 8, 2026 PC hotfix removed the ability to throw the Cryo Core in The Icebind because it was causing loss of functionality. This is a targeted change to that mission object. It does not establish that every input or ability problem in Warframe has the same cause. [1]
The Icebind stopped progressing after a squad member left: Hotfix 44.1.1
Digital Extremes records a fix for a mission becoming blocked when a squad member left after a Side Objective had started. The same PC hotfix addresses enemy spawning when completing a Side Objective after the main mission requirements were met, particularly in Excavation. These entries identify the affected mission state; they are not a recommendation to abandon every Side Objective. [1]
Spliced Riven cycling doubled the Kuva cost: Hotfix 44.1.1
The PC hotfix notes identify an incorrect doubling of the Kuva cost when cycling Rivens with a Spliced Trait. The publisher also announced a refund script for missing Kuva. The announcement is evidence of the fix and intended refund, rather than proof that a particular account has already received it. [1]
Cross-platform squad formed before entering a Dojo
Digital Extremes’ current cross-platform guide still documents an issue involving squads formed before entering a Dojo. The published workaround changes the order of entering and inviting players. [2]
Documented steps
- Load into the Dojo before inviting squad members playing on a different platform. [2]
Cannot trade after setting up Cross Platform Save
For PC and Cross Platform Save players, the official guide requires TennoGuard 2FA for in-game item trading. Cross Platform Play must also be enabled for cross-platform trading. [2]
Documented steps
- Enable TennoGuard 2FA through Account Management and check that Cross Platform Play is enabled in the in-game settings. [2]
Limits & applicability
- Platinum trading between Nintendo Switch and other platforms remains unavailable according to the guide. [2]
Linked account shows a different inventory or progression
Account Linking retains the Primary Account’s progression. Digital Extremes warns that the selected primary permanently overrides the other linked account’s progress; this can explain why a secondary inventory is no longer accessible. [2]
Limits & applicability
- Linking is permanent. Do not follow an old account-merging guide expecting to combine inventories: merging was retired on January 17, 2025. [2]
Sources & verification
Platform and version details belong to the individual issue or guide section. A documented workaround may not resolve every case.
