Riot warns that displayed error codes can be incorrect
Riot’s September 22, 2026 warning says a recent bug makes VALORANT display the wrong code for various errors. A displayed number is therefore insufficient to establish a particular account, network or Vanguard diagnosis while this warning remains in the support documentation. [1]
Documented steps
- Submit a support ticket with logs so Riot can identify the underlying error. [1]
Limits & applicability
- The general list marks itself out of date. It recommends a ticket while the problem is being fixed, although some general troubleshooting may help. [2]
Kingdom Credits stop increasing at 10,000
Kingdom Credits stop accruing at the documented 10,000 cap until some are spent. This is a currency limit rather than proof of a reward bug. [3]
Documented steps
- Spend credits on an eligible Agent, Agent Gear item or accessory you want to make room for more accrual. [3]
Limits & applicability
- Kingdom Credit purchases cannot be refunded, so choose deliberately before spending to clear the cap. [3]
FFA Deathmatch grants match credits but no daily checkpoint progress
Riot’s currency table gives FFA Deathmatch 15 Kingdom Credits per completed match while awarding no daily checkpoint progress for that mode. A credit award without a change to daily progress is therefore consistent with the documented distinction between the two reward tracks. Daily checkpoints are advanced by the modes listed separately in the support table. [3]
Documented steps
- When working on daily checkpoints, use a listed checkpoint-eligible mode. For example, Spike Rush, Escalation and Team Deathmatch each supply two progress points per match. [3]
New Agent unavailable for Kingdom Credits immediately
During the first 28 days of a new Agent’s release, its unlock options are VP, its Recruitment Event or a linked active Xbox Game Pass subscription. KC and Agent Unlock Tokens become options after that event ends. [3]
No Kingdom Credits after a disruptive-behavior penalty
The support page explicitly says a disruptive-behavior penalty removes Kingdom Credit earnings for that match. This is a match-specific reward rule, separate from the 10,000-credit cap or a Deathmatch daily-progress restriction. It does not mean a player should diagnose every missing reward as a penalty without checking the match context. [3]
