Use the Cafeteria room for hot meals

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

The Cafeteria is a dedicated room for feeding students while they socialize. It was added in Update 9.0. Use that room for the hot-meal function described here rather than expecting an ordinary decoration to provide the same service. [1]

The room serves staff as well as students. The official description therefore covers both groups rather than limiting its food service to a single student clique. [1]

Steps

  1. Add the Cafeteria room to the campus when setting up this hot-meal service. [1]

Set the number of Assistants in the room inspector

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

The Cafeteria’s staffing control is Capacity in the room inspector. It supports up to three Assistants in one Cafeteria for increased productivity. This is a room-specific maximum; the announcement does not say every campus room can use three Assistants or that raising the limit automatically hires them. [1]

Steps

  1. Select the Cafeteria and adjust its staff Capacity in the room inspector. [1]
  2. Choose a capacity of up to three Assistants for that Cafeteria. [1]

Plan the room’s seating and presentation

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

The update provides seating items for different clique sizes. Use those choices when arranging the room so the intended student groups have the seating arrangement you want. [1]

Floor and wall customisations support a retro cafe appearance. These are design choices around the food service, rather than a documented requirement for unlocking a higher Assistant capacity. [1]

Use Eat-a-thon events for the Cafeteria’s event content

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

Eat-a-thon events are another Cafeteria feature and can bring the County’s mascots onto campus. [1]

The developer describes these events as giving food and buffs. It does not provide one universal numerical buff value in this announcement, so check the event rather than assuming every meal has the same result. [1]
