Automatic blade oils only worked after enabling them that session
Patch 5.01 fixes Automatically Apply Blade Oils working only when enabled during the current game session. This is the documented feature-persistence defect. [1]
GTAO Quality reset after restarting
Patch 5.01 fixes GTAO Quality resetting after a game restart. It separately corrects Dynamic Resolution Scaling showing the wrong setting after changing anti-aliasing mode. [1]
Game sometimes selected the wrong GPU
The same patch fixes the game sometimes selecting the wrong GPU. It also fixes switching graphics presets applying DLSS or XeSS on unsupported GPUs. Those are separate corrections in the PC-specific list. [1]
Save and load failures with special characters in Documents path
Steam hotfix 5.00c fixes saving or loading failing when the Documents-folder path contains special characters. This is a released fix for that path condition, rather than an instruction to rename user folders. [1]
Cross-progression save needs matching mods
The mod FAQ requires the same enabled mod set on both platforms for cross-progression compatibility. A missing or incompatible mod on the destination can prevent the save loading correctly. PC players planning console transfers should check that their mods are also available on console. [2]
Some pre-update mod files require creator updates
The FAQ says mods containing XML, script or w3strings files do not work on release of the update and identifies a REDkit update route for creators. That warning concerns these mod contents, not every texture mod or all saved games. [2]
