Find the PvP banner in Mountain View
Ubisoft’s published PvP process starts in Mountain View. The top-screen banner shows the input for entering automatic matchmaking. Use that displayed prompt rather than assuming a universal keyboard binding, since the announcement does not specify one here. [1]
Steps
Expect an initial random session before voting
Matchmaking groups you with up to three other players and may place you into a random match already in progress. The initial match is not chosen through the subsequent playlist vote. [1]
After the first random playlist, everyone in the group can vote on what to play next. Joining during an existing map vote is also possible, so the first screen seen after matchmaking can differ between sessions. [1]
Choose a repeat or one of the two alternatives
The vote’s first option repeats the previous playlist. The other two offer something different, and the option with the most votes wins. Read the options before selecting: the first position has the specific repeat function, rather than always naming a new playlist. [1]
Steps
- Choose the repeat option or one of the two alternative playlists during the vote. [1]
Finish the playlist’s challenges for full XP
The accompanying PvP patch explains that full playlist XP depends on playing all its challenges. When learning the loop, continue through the playlist instead of interpreting participation in only part of it as the full-reward condition. [2]
Distinguish the voting rules from a current event schedule
The publisher’s voting announcement also mentions special weekend events. Its published process explains playlist selection; it does not establish which limited event is running today or promise a particular current queue population. [1]
