Healing Gourd has no uses left
The Healing Gourd is refilled by resting at a Sculptor’s Idol. Its maximum uses per rest can be increased by giving Gourd Seeds to Emma, who is outside the Dilapidated Temple after the Shinobi Prosthetic is acquired. An empty Gourd is therefore a resource condition with a documented refill route, not itself evidence of a save bug. [1]

Resurrection is unavailable immediately after using it
Activision distinguishes having Resurrective Power from being allowed to resurrect twice in succession. After one Resurrection, it cannot be used again until enough life has been taken. A Deathblow on a powerful enemy, even without killing that enemy, or killing several weaker enemies is usually enough to make it available again. The word usually matters: this is the publisher’s description of the mechanic, not an unconditional instant refill. [1]
