Use the gadget for its surface and shield interaction
Noor is the Egyptian Defender introduced with Operation Split Fire. His Horus Lance fires piercing projectiles that attach to surfaces or shields and release flames on both sides. Ubisoft presents the gadget as a way to pressure attackers through walls, floors and ceilings as well as challenge shields. [1]
Steps
- Use Noor on defense and fire a Horus Lance projectile at the surface or shield you intend to affect. Its documented sequence is attachment followed by flames on both sides. [1]
- When planning around a shield hit, use the midseason interaction rather than the launch values: Y11S3.2 increases the impact guard-break strength against Ballistic Shields to 100% from 30%. [2]
Use the documented midseason drilling and removal changes
The Y11S3.2 notes reduce drilling time on Ballistic Shields, soft surfaces and non-destructible solid surfaces to 1.5 seconds from two. They also allow damage to a Ballistic Shield operator during the removal animation. Those are the stated interactions; this guide does not promise a guaranteed elimination from one hit. [2]
Separate balance changes from the projectile fixes
If the projectile behaviour seems different from launch demonstrations, the midseason patch also updates its hitbox for accuracy and consistency. The same document fixes an oversized hitbox and reticle-opacity handling, so use Y11S3.2 as the reference for this guide’s numbers. [2]
