Use Cash for washers and cleaning equipment

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

The developer’s in-game store guide assigns Cash to washers and equipment. Earn it by completing jobs, then use it for the next cleaning upgrade. [1]

The equipment budget includes extensions, larger SwirlForce heads and nozzles such as the Prime Vista Pro Triple-Tip. These purchases use the same Cash budget as a new washer, so a nozzle purchase and a washer purchase draw from the same funds. [1]

Steps

  1. Complete jobs to earn the Cash used for equipment upgrades. [1]

Identify whether an item can be bought or sold

In the shop, the cart icon marks items you can buy, while the dollar icon identifies items you can sell. Use the icon on the actual item to distinguish acquiring another piece of equipment from returning one already owned. [1]

Steps

  1. Look for the dollar icon on the older equipment you intend to sell. [1]

Sell unneeded equipment at its purchase price

The store guide says sold equipment returns the amount it cost to buy. Selling an unused older washer is therefore a documented way to recover Cash for another nozzle or upgrade. [1]

The shop also asks whether you want to sell that washer’s attachments. Consider this additional choice when returning a washer; its attachments are part of the confirmation described by the developer. [1]

Steps

  1. Sell the selected unneeded equipment back through the shop. [1]
  2. Answer the attachment question according to whether you also want to return those attachments. [1]

Keep the protected starting washers in mind

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

The Prime Vista 1500 and Urban X U1 starting washers cannot be sold. They are the stated exception to the sell-back system, so an unavailable sale on either starter is expected. [1]

Selling is optional. The developer says the journey provides enough Cash for every washer and equipment item, which also supports keeping the collection instead of returning an older tool. [1]

Keep PowerWash Points out of the equipment calculation

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

PowerWash Points purchase cosmetics and furniture as those items unlock. They are distinct from the Cash used for cleaning equipment. [1]

Items bought with PowerWash Points cannot be sold back. The equipment refund method therefore does not apply to furniture or cosmetics purchased with that currency. [1]
