Pokémon UNITE: How to Share a Save Between Switch and Mobile

Identify the save and account you want to keep

The same Pokémon UNITE save can be accessed on Switch and mobile by linking the correct Nintendo Account or Pokémon Trainer Central account. Decide which existing save you are moving access to before launching the other version. The accounts linked on both sides must match, and the support article warns that completed account links cannot be undone. [1]

Starting from a Switch save

Launch the mobile app and select Nintendo Account or Pokémon Trainer Central account on its title screen during initial setup. Link the same account used for the Switch save. Support says that once the same account is linked, both devices can access that save. Do this at the start: choosing a separate initial mobile setup prevents returning within that setup to sync the Switch progress. [1]

Starting from a mobile save

Before launching the Switch version, open Settings on the existing mobile version and link a Nintendo Account or Pokémon Trainer Central account. A matching Nintendo Account automatically syncs the mobile save with the Switch version. For a Pokémon Trainer Central link, choose that same account as the login platform during the Switch version’s initial launch. [1]

If the Switch version was already started separately

If the user’s Nintendo Account was used to start Switch before the mobile save was linked, Pokémon Support says that account can no longer sync with the existing mobile save. Its documented route is a separate Switch user linked to the correct Nintendo Account. Do not repeatedly link different accounts expecting the two saves to merge; the source explains access to one save and explicitly says links cannot be undone. [1]
