PEAK’s September 2 Steam patch adds room codes. In a lobby the code appears on the pause menu, and friends can enter it through JOIN GAME. The October 15 announcement schedules console launches and crossplay for the following week; this guide covers the already documented Steam room-code flow. [1]

Steps

1. While in your lobby, open the pause menu and copy its room code for the friends you want to invite. [1]

Hide the code when broadcasting

The Settings menu offers an option to hide the room code for streaming. Existing friend-invite methods also remain available. A hidden code is a display preference, and the patch does not say it disables invitations or replaces a lobby access rule. [1]
